San Francisco Zoo Lights is now open to the public until December 30, 2012 from 4pm to 8pm for a nightly stroll with magical holiday treats of colorful glittering animal topiaries and trees draped with festive lights. There will be live animals exhibit of those which are able to stay awake at night, such as stirring friends of Santa's reindeers near the Lion Fountain and bashing penguins in their island. Look back in time as you take a free ride the treasured Dentzel Carousel made up of 50 different animals and two chariots, built in 1921. Enjoy the special holiday entertainment all over the zoo and sweet exploration along the Candy Land. Admission to the public is $5, free for San Francisco Zoological Society members, children of 3 years and below.  Check more event details.
