Not too far from the hostel is the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District, a long name for a pretty cool little spot. It’s easy to explore on your own, but once a month they have teamed up with the infamous Wild SF Walking Tours (our favorite tour company!) for a free tour of the area. You can expect to learn about history, art, poetry, architecture, and activism. Plus, being a performing arts district, there are live performances from characters that will tell the story of the city and its unique reputation. The tour last 90s minutes, from 10-11:30am, and will be full of laughs and surprises alike. To join the hostel group, meet Meg at 9:30am.
