San Francisco is home to many free festivals and concerts year-round. If you're just getting here, you're coming at a good time. We have lots of free events coming up! One of the biggest ones is the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival. This festival started in May and runs all the way until October, offering many chances to see great concerts and other performances for free. This Thursday, don't miss a free hour-long performance by the all-female musical group The Onyx. Formed in our neighboring city of Berkeley, The Onyx combines genres such as R&B, funk, electronica, salsa and soul to bring you a great show and an excellent way to spend a Thursday afternoon.
