The Legion of Honor is an art museum with more than 124,000 works of art, paintings & countless sculptures from different regions and time periods. How cool is that! It's one of the largest ancient art collections in the country, it's right here in San Francisco, and on the first Tuesday of the month, it's completely free! The free admission starts at 9:30 a.m. and closes when the museum closes at 17:15. While you're there, make sure you check out Lands End, the beautiful coastal forest right behind the museum. It even has a stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge, which you will be able to see if you catch it on a Tuesday with clear weather.
