The Haight and Ashbury district has a fascinating history of everything from rock & roll legends in alliances with Hells Angels to the shocking (at the time) ideology of giving away nearly everything for free. Although it's changed over the years, this historic district is still a great place to browse thrift stores and get some great photos. It's also home to an awesome record store, Amoeba Records, and minutes away from the notorious Hippie Hill, part of Golden Gate Park. Come with us to spend a Sunday morning exploring this "only in SF" neighborhood!
