Ah yes, Dolores Park. The popular San Francisco institution where you will see normal park activities such as lounging and sliding and picnic-ing, but you may also see people decked out in costumes, a dude hacking off the tops of coconuts with a machete to fill them with rum and sell them, a giant dancing robot, and many other sights that will make you wonder why you didn't visit San Francisco sooner. On the first Saturday of every month, you will also see the park crawling with cats. You read that correctly. The first Saturday of the month is CATURDAY at Dolores Park, where humans bring their adventurous cats to Dolores so they can take part in some of the fun, too.
