Home - Away from Home

From the moment we walked across the threshold, it was like we were walking into someone's home. The People. From their first greeting until we left, we felt at home as if we'd gone to stay with Friends or Family that we'd known a lifetime. We WILL return. "The People" extended to the other Guest's as well. They have a central Gathering Room for Guests. Again, even the Guest's made us feel at home. We now have new friends in Japan, Asia, New Zealand, and France. Whether we were all gathered for a meal, or just to Hang Out, it was fantastic. The location was near downtown/China Town in San Francisco. During our visit there were more than 4 Million Tourist's. The Hostel was also very busy, and the Staff had no problems keeping up with the increased workload. We saw quite a few people checking in or leaving, and they handled the additional Guest's with ease. I have been traveling to San Francisco since my Childhood. This Hostel contributed us having one of the best weekends visiting there in many years.
