Encouraging supporters of union from all over the world in unity and turn their challenges and difficulties into form of art, music inspired and in record of films led to the establisment of SF LaborFest. Turning the 1934 bloody strike of West Coast's longshoremen and funeral procession along Market Street attended by thousands of sympathizers into an annual festival. 2013 LaborFest celebrates from July 2 to July 31, on July 14 schedule of San Francisco General Strike Walk meet-up in front of Ferry Building by 10am. It is going to be a long walk and informative talk with retired members of International Longshore and Warehouse Union about the strike's history, causes, relevant issues and work struggles.  Check out LaborFest schedule.
