Catch a free Sunday admission on September 16, 2012 at the California Academy of Sciences. One of the most largest and newest (after construction of a new building in 2008) natural museum in the world where you can meet and learn about different species in the Steinhart Aquarium, all-digital Morrison Planetarium, Kimball Natural History Museum and 4-story dome of tropical rainforest. The California Academy of Sciences is also a scientific institution conducting worldwide research and educational outreach of sharing knowledge to everyone. Due to the change in free day from Wednesday to Sunday, more families are now able to visit the Academy plus more and more attracted visitors from near and far. The Academy is open from 11am to 5pm every Sunday and a first-come, first-served basis so come early to avoid long hours of waiting at the entrance. Final entry to the museum on free days is 4pm.
