Spend your weekend with the Mexican-American communities in Dolores park in celebrating Cinco de Mayo on May 4, Saturday. Move and flex your muscle for starters with the Zumba-thon at 10am (a $10 donation). A display of Mexican cultural heritage in form of live musical concerts of vocals, chorus, orchestra, ensemble dances of the Folklórico ballet and a Mariachi group in colorful and creatively designed costumes. This 9th year celebration will focus in health awareness and community life styles sponsored by the SF Health Plan and the Monterey Bay Aquarium which include family oriented arts and craft activities like painting, beading, weaving, balloon art, magic tricks and more.
