Veteran's Day in the United States is a day where most businesses, schools, and places of work are closed to honor the veterans that have represented the US by serving in battle. It's always on November 11th. We will of course be open! The day before, on November 10th, check out the 99th annual Veteran's Day Parade. It starts at 11 a.m. in the morning fairly close (ish) to the hostel on North Point Street, and ends at Jefferson Street by Fisherman's Wharf at 1 p.m. Use our WhatsApp group to find people to go with, or make new friends by hanging out in the common room the night before, and enjoy this free parade to honor our veterans!
