We're willing to bet that everyone you know who's been to San Francisco has drank some cheap beer or seen the Golden Gate Bridge. But how many people do you know have visited SF and learned about astonomy? For free? Our guess is not many. San Francisco Amateur Astronomers (SFAA) hosts a free astronomy lecture on the third Wednesday of every month. This event runs for an hour and a half and features talks by astronomy experts. The talk officially starts at 8 p.m., but show up at 7:30 for that free coffee we promised you. Light snacks will also be provided.
