Aquatic Park is a unique park in San Francisco that literally juts into the Bay. It’s a lesser-known spot that everyone should make sure to check out while they are visiting here. As an added bonus, the Polar Plunge is at Aquatic Park today, which is a 5k fundraiser race for children with special needs. As if that wasn't cool enough, the competitors wear costumes. Aquatic Park is awesome on any normal day, but when there's people swimming in it dressed like sea animals and other costumes? Even more awesome. The Polar Plunge begins at 10:00 and runs until 13:30. Don't forget to take pictures of one of the most SF events ever to impress all your friends back home.
