Wat Mongkolratanaram is a Thai Buddhist Temple that serves up a pretty incredible brunch on Sundays. It get super busy with people lining up, while the the air is full of spices and flavors. The food is on a token system ($1 = 1 token) so you can buy exactly what you want and support the monks. Each meal usually costs around 8 tokens, so eight dollars. The food is from local Thai restaurants and volunteers, but the proceeds go to benefit the Wat, the monks that live in the temple, and its many programs, including the cultural center and the school. Come with an appetite! Brunch is served from 10:00 until 13:00.
