Be one of the thousands who gathered every year to witness the genuine creativity of students building their version of 'Things that jump', Leap's 29th Annual Sandcastle Contest themes which will take place at Ocean Beach in San Francisco on Saturday, October 20th from 10am to 4pm. Before the event, the students will team up with architects, engineers, contractors, corporations, designers to plan, construct the models and assigned tasks to everyone as preparation. Then on the day of the event, they only have 4 hours to build their piece based on the contest theme. This event is free and you can try building your own sandcastle in their "Community Castle" area, be creative in art projects or just enjoy the live music which will be performed by the Leap Artists. Teams and sponsors of The Sandcastle Contest joined to raise funds to serve more than 8,000 students across the Bay Area. Donations are accepted online.
