Originally celebrated in Mexico on May 5 known as LaBatalla de Puebla (or The Battle of Puebla) where the victories of the Mexican army popularly reached the United States and was acknowledged taking in pride by the Mexican people who migrated to this country. And after all these decades, continuing the celebration of the victory both in Mexico and the United States became an event that drew the Hispanic community made up of diverse national origins revering their arts and culture, as well as values and traditions. On it's 10th year at Mission Neighborhood Centers in San Francisco, the festival will be held on 3rd of May 2014 on Valencia Street, with spectacular display of talent by Mexican and Latin American from 10am to 6pm. There will be almost 50 vendors who will participate to offer their foods, crafts, arts, services and multi-cultural products. This is a family-oriented event, alcohol-free and special area for children; such as Kids Zone, petting zoo, magic tricks, clown performance and different creative activities. Check event details.
